New posts available and new posts listed don't match

I'm having some really weird behavior. When I log in, the home page says there are six new posts. But when I click the "New Posts" link, only one is shown...and there's only one new message in that thread. This has been happening for the past few hours. Is something weird about my account?

I assume you have tried logging out then logging back in?
Clearing cookies?

Thanks for the reply, suzi! Yes, I've logged in an out a few times, and I'm still seeing it. It still may be a caching issue though. I'll clear that out and see what happens.
