Avatar works on one user but not another

Got a weird question... I've created some animated gif avatars. Mine worked just fine. When I uploaded the one I made for Ray, it work fine too. But when he uploaded it, it doesn't play the gif. We tried it from my computer as well...works on my account but not his. Any ideas? :huh:
