Hello everyone...."My Name is Jane and I have PND"

There...said it...its taken me 3 years but i got there eventually! have been harbouring this secret for so long I think i have forgotten what its like NOT to have it! went to see my HV monday and she has referred me to the specialist pND unit at our local hospital, and docs on Frid for medication.

I am very anxious about taking anti -d's and am worried about what they will/wont do.....and how long i will need to take them for.....I am very anxious about EVERYTHING!!!!!! :(

Hi Jane,
Well done for speaking out, I personally know how hard that is, You have come to the right place. Open up and spill your guts, It's good therapy IMO
There are some fantastic people here who will listen and not judge.

First off, congrats to you for getting the help you deserve ~ it feels better just having asked for it, yeah?!?

Secondly, I too had the issue with the stigma of taking anti-d's ~ but Suzi talked some sense into me...................so what if I need to take a tablet everyday just so I can get through the day ~ at least then I can get through the day without falling apart and I can start living my life again rather than hiding from it!

Keep yakking hunnie, there is always someone here to give you a huggle when needed xxxxx
