Not made any yet, am looking for patterns to knit or sew some. May try getting some waste canvas and doing some with embroidery on. When I have made a few I will post pics for you.

I don't have a clue about the copyright details, but you could try looking in the archives of www.knitty.com. It's a quarterly e-magazine with a major focus on knitting and snippets of spinning. I imagine you're creative enough to take any ideas make them your own.

If anyone gets any other ideas of stuff they would like someone to make for them give me a shout if I can work out how to do it I will give it a go and if it works out well it can be added to the list of stock iyswim.
Rainydays, sorry I never did find that girrafe pattern, not sure what happened to it. If you still want a draft excluder I could run up a plain one for you to stuff and use. (cheaper to post if you stuff it yourself with old tights or similar).

That reminded me, well done! It's a pretty easy one but I'd like a frock for my cousin's little girls' 1st Birthday (in February, I'm nothing if not organised!) I have teeny tiny budget (about £7.50 all in I'm afraid) but I don't have grand idea so it should be good! Essentially I like the style of this dress http://i19.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/bf/58/a37b_1.JPG any kind of material, not massively fussed about colour but purple, red or dark pink would be groovy. The thing is she's called Rosie so I'd quite like to have something rose based on there (like embroidery, or those little material roses), or alternatively I'm very tempted to make the poor child a walking advert for me and send you some weaving to sew on as a kind of belt (which doesn't come off!)?
Is that at all possible? No rush as it's not her Birthday while February, and I understand if the budget's a bit too teeny for you :-) Thanks :-)

Looks fairly simple, will have a look through my patterns and see if I can find some material. You could send some fairly simple weaving for a belt that I could make a rose embelishment for. Within your budget too I hope. Will pm you later when I have had a look.

No problem, I'm hyper organsied at the moment (I've started planning for Christmas 2008! I'm actually scaring myself now!) so I'll prod you at regular intervals (just kidding!).
There's no rush anyway it's not until the end of Feb so there's plenty of time so you definitely don't need to worry :-)

Ask and you shall receive: there's a bag pattern in the latest knitty. It's pretty simple, but the lines and design are unique: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall07/PATTpercy.html

davey is joining in on the typing front again
tbh i havent seen knitted ones like that.. i have no idea what you should charge! i spose it depends on the cost of the wool, the time it takes to make and the other "ingredients" that you need to cost up too...

Will cost up the wool, fabric linning, button then make one, see how long it takes and get back to you with a price then hunni.
fabulous! thanks!
oh and the brighter and more "odd" or "hippy" the better! LOL Ta!

You'll do great! Try to get a little extra rest and eat nice and healthy. The boost it'll give your immune system is a good thing.

I don't think it's while this Friday? (is it or have I got it wrong I did think it was last Friday at first and then you (MH) posted saying you were nervous about it this week so I thought it might be this Friday) anyway, if you haven't done it yet your stuff is gorgeous you'll have no trouble selling it, or at least just letting people know you'e out there (as soon as they see it they'll want you to make them stuff!)
and if it's been, tell us how you went!
