Hi, just wanted to share this moment with you all ;) Now this may not seem a big thing, but I HATE trying anything new, in case it all goes wrong and it makes me feel bad about myself. This is especially true when it comes to cooking anything but basic food!

Well today, after a LOT of moaning and complaining by my kids. And after they put all the ingredients out for me, I actually made and cooked my own pancakes!! Not exactly a Delia Smith moment I know, but normally I would buy them from the shops, or the mix ready to use. but I did it and according to my kids they tasted lovely!

So another small triumph in my ever chaotic life!(y)

That's lovely of you to take time to share your pancake making triumph. It's little things that help us in life to feel more positive, and give us a sense of being. I love it.

Certainly not something silly and small, it's brilliant! It's not just about the pancakes it's about you being proud of something you have done!

You should! Get the kids to help! It'll be fun as well as a good thing to do!
