I'm looking forward to beginning my psychotherapy training, to celebrating my first anniversary with my husband, and I was looking forward to doing some of the driving on a day out (just to prove I can do it) but I ticked that off this morning!

I have tickets for a Tottenham match in a couple of months. My first ever premier league match. Just need to find someone to go with me.

In a couple of weeks I hope to tick the King Power off my list of stadiums visited.

Kinda struggling to find a third. Sorry.

Oh gosh, not going to be a very long list but I can work on it.

~ I’m grateful for DWD. I didn’t realise just how much I needed this place again.
~ I’m grateful for Talia, the ultimate snuggle pup. Love her so much.
~ I’m grateful to have places I can go, to get out of the house even if it is just to sit in the pub with my headphones on.

Self care went out the window in the past 24hrs. I had to drive into Birmingham during rush hour traffic on a Friday night to take my nephew and his mates to a gig. Didn’t get home til just before 1am. Couldn’t sleep after that and only had 2hrs kip all night and had to be up early to get into town to catch a train for the WFA Cup game in Walsall. Not long back in town and having a drink and something to eat before going home. Thankfully my sister cancelled on me this evening, we had planned to go to a Northern Soul night but I’m shattered. I suppose an early night will have to be my self care thing, not that I have a choice cos I can barely keep my eyes open.

Well, I didnt expect to achieve this but made a cinema date with my daughter and had to drive a different way due to a diversion for a road closure.

Today I’m going to meet some friends I’ve not seen in a while, and then go help out with a Wetherspoons charity darts tournament. Should be fun.
