Friday Fab 5s!: Friday 30 June

It’s FRIDAY! The day of the week when our shoulders traditionally relax as we tell ourselves ‘yay! The weekend is here!’ (Though my hubby will tell you my whole life is a weekend)……. Anyhoo, it is my honour and privilege to ask you the most important question of the week.

WHAT 5 THINGS (more or less) HAVE MADE YOUR HEART SING, OR BROUGHT EXCITEMENT AND/OR JOY TO YOUR LIFE THIS WEEK?

If you’ve completed an Ironman competition, that’s awesome but if you enjoyed watching Ironman on the tele, thats equally awesome.

Mine to get things going:

- lovely birthday party for my father in law. We got to catch up with family, and the sun was shining :)
- quality time with my best friend
- Witcher S3
- it’s cooled down a bit (whew)
- my orchid’s still alive
- receiving an invitation to a wedding I’ve been excited about for what seems like FOREVER!

It’s been a really tough week so probably more important I do this.

~ Trying new craft projects
~ This is History podcast been a good distraction
~ Got all of my medical appointments wrapped up
~ Travelling to Milton Keynes tomorrow for the Lionesses send off before the World Cup
~ Despite struggling I’ve managed to survive the week following my crisis plan

- allowing myself to rely on others and letting them step up
- meal out with friends
- final crochet order finished
- met my new great niece and got a cuddle

- pretty good driving lesson! Yes there were mistakes but it's coming together!
- decent start made on centrepieces for the wedding
- we've started getting RSVPs back! So exciting!!!!
- Toby has been extra affectionate the last few days. Yes, he probably wants food but I'll take that!
- our mini rose is finally flowering!
