Our project ( any advice appreciated)

Hi boys and myself are going away on a Disney themed break to Wales end march
One of comps is caravan comp decorate your van as a theme , boys have decided lion king ( ds5 loves it)
So I have drew scene out on 2 large canvas's they have put fairy lights in the clouds then put cotton wool over, mufasa's face will be in the clouds so the lights shining down , pride rock we have used crumpled paper, grass they have used rice stuck on
It looks really good but dilemma is do we paint it or would chalk work best so can blend the sky?

you can use paint . just get the paint wet , and to make it look like ink then it will blend for you and if you like like the way it look start over.

Painted going to use chalk for sky effects
Add the animals week after next as ds5's birthday next Saturday and his party

Thanks all after talking with them plan will be to print simba and animals off on the pc. cut them out and college them different textures, simba they want yellow and orange pom poms , zazu blue feathers ect.
put some stars on with sequins and for mufasa going to etch out on silver card his face so can just about see it ( pencil on shiny silver card)
we will have toy animals on the window ledge ( little safari ones) and windows at the side smaller ones will have a banner saying lion king just printed out or coloured in wth few characters again the same

Managed to do more of our project it's for a comp on Saturday for caravan window lion king is our theme

Zazu i drew v impressed the bird boys used feathers for and cut out rest of the animals, we have yet to add more animals and simba's body
