Quiz Xmas 2018 parts I & II

No use of Google, Bing or any other online search engines, no use of Wikipedia or any other online encyclopedias or dictionaries.
Friends, family and pets may help.

Please do NOT post answers/spoilers/hints etc.

Please pm (private message) me (OldMike) your answers.

The aggregate score for both parts will determine the supreme champion.

Please submit the two parts separately (as they won't fit my inbox slot together) and clearly mark whether Part I (1) or Part II (2)

Corrected it now reads '1. On a calculator's LCD display which number resembles the letter "S"?'

I think we all know the answer now and what a silly question it was (giggle)

My brain feels very disconnected from the rest of me. Even simple tasks seem to take an awful lot of thought to work out how to do them. I stood looking at the kettle this evening as I realised I'd made my tea with cold water, I couldn't work out how to turn it on so had juice instead. However I have been doing a lot of crochet.....3am seems to be my default waking time so keeping the fingers busy and I just keep them moving whether its in pattern or not. Wool can always be ripped out again:)

I love to get into the quiz. Although its not easy being a foreigner. But I like the energy you put into it. And that alone deserves as many people playing as possible.

I posted the quiz on the 24th December 2018 it was just supposed to be open for Christmas and New Year, I left it open longer hoping for more entries and decided to close it today.
