You will be getting the first part as an email, but in accordance with the changing laws I have to make you all aware of all of this... If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

GDPR Regulations

Please note you need to act soon!

With the new changes in the regulations I am bound to ask you to agree (or disagree) to the way that www.dealingwithdepression.co.uk (http://about%3Cstrong%3E%3C/strong%3E:blank) collects, stores, uses and deletes your information.

To make this easier for everyone I am asking you to LOG IN to your account to AGREE to the new privacy policy.

If you do NOT log in to show you agree then your account will be hard deleted at any point after the cut off date of 25th May 2018.

We are exempt from registration in the ICO Data Protection Register because we are a not for profit organisation where no money is involved.

The reason we use this basis: You give your consent to our terms and conditions when you sign up to the forum as a member. It is not feasible for us to use any other format for establishing your consent.
We process your information in the following ways:
Data retention period: We will continue to process your information under this basis until you withdraw consent or it is determined your consent no longer exists. Posts will be retained for 5 years or until the guidelines change that period of time.
Sharing your information: We do not share your information with third parties unless we believe there to be a case of a medical emergency / risk to the member or persons with them where we would try to raise the alarm with the relevant emergency services.
Information collected: Your chosen username, your email address and your ip address are collected. The posts / threads you make along with the last activity and private messages are included in this.



If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
Your individual rights

Under the GDPR your rights are as follows.

Hi sissy, I'm up early too! Don't panic! The fact that you're logged in is probably enough, but if you want to be sure then just send an email to admin@dealingwithdepression.co.uk and just say Hi suzi, I'm happy with everything on this site and the way it's run..etc..etc..sissyx
