View Full Version : *yarn*
After feeling I am not good enough to share my work, I finally decide to give it a shot. I can get better, and maybe someone actually can take their time to give me some advice and maybe, just maybe I can give any little tips back. I just started making socks on a long cable, I think someone called the method magic loop. Here we go, just some silly socks made out mainly of left over yarn.
Hello!
Sabertooth79 shared an album with you.

I still need to learn how to post pictures separately, not everything in that folder should even be showed since I hated the final outcome. Bear with me, I am really trying.
The album is showing as private I'm afraid hunni... If you copy the url link on photobucket and then click the picture (picture frame with a tree) on the reply box here and copy that url in then it'll post individual images... ;)

Thank you. Knitting is my way to push through hard times. It feels like life can be knitted together just like yarn. I appreciate your encouragement, maybe I dare to show my experimental work one day too.
They're really beautiful Sissy! You're a clever girl!
Oh I'm so happy I dared to show these pictures, I really smiled from ear to ear after seeing your comments. Thank you everyone, my difficult morning took a real jump to better.
Love those knee high ones!

Fantastic all those different colours and patterns in the knee length socks must've have taken a lot time and care, you're a very clever lady.
I tried to make a scarf with crocodile stitches. It came out weird, and now I use it for dusting garden chair and table. :(
Crocodile stitches eat yarn massively!

That's gorgeous. Do you carry the threads at the back, or do you have separate little balls of wool for each colour change?
I carry 2 at time so the sock is thick and warm

Knitting in the round is something I have yet to master! I want to knit socks as proper hand knitted wool socks are fabulous when you have raynauds.

Left over yarn. Those pesky little balls of wool you can't really make anything big from anymore. Well. This is how I use mine.

They're awesome!!!
They're more than awesome, they're genius!! You are so clever.(clap) They could sell for a lot of money online!
In Finland you need to pay taxes for selling hand made goods. It is annoying. Well. Nobody knows if I sell a paor every now and then, but I don't dare to advertise at all. There might always be some jealous person reporting me if I wrote on fb about it. People can be meanif I
People can be mean. Do the taxes cover a percentage of each sale?
It is a complicated system. I don't even understand it myself completely, so I would need to do this with paid service. No point unless I can sell alot. So I sell "under the counter" if someone asks and won't tell anyone...
I don't blame you ;) Your secret is safe with us x
