View Full Version : Friday Fab 5's: Friday 3rd March 2017

It's Friday!
So.... in time honoured tradition I ask the legendary question...

"What 5 things have been positive for you, or made you smile this week?"

Remember, each thing is celebrated and there is nothing that is too small to be included. Aim for 5, but there is no upper or lower limit!

Mine to get you started:

~ Brilliant parents evening for H
~ Laughs at Lola
~ Celebrating Moiya's "Gotcha Day"
~ Friendships
~ Music - listening to it, playing with it, jamming with F on her sax..

Your turn!

- Had a fab session with Sam yesterday, left there in a really good mood and feeling really good about myself!
- Been drinking a lot more the 2nd half of the week
- Encouragement from my brother
- Friendship and support from here as always

Surviving counselling
Being made to feel good about myself if only for a short while.
Having good friends to support me
Being brave enough yesterday to sort something that will give me peace of mind

Here's my 10 pence worth.

1. The kind words and support from all of you here after the death of my brother.
2. Settling into our little abode.
3. Kind neighbours making us so welcome
4. Looking forward to helping out at the Golden Age afternoon tea on Wednesday.
5. Pleased that in spite of Zoe breaking up with her husband she seems to be coping well A.D.A.A.T.
Thanks all.xx

A little bit later than normal, but here I go:-

1. I'll start with the fun and games that I had with the kids in school this morning. Someone asked if I went to school on a donkey?!!? Really made me laugh.
2. Next comes the crochet that I thought Aisling this week. We've only got as far as the chain stitch but she's happy with that at the moment.
3. Group wasn't too bad this week and I had a great chat with Michelle.
4. I knit a Christmas tree this week.
5. All the support that everyone here gives freely. There is no place like this anywhere else in the world. I'd be lost without you all.

These are all brilliant. Any more?
